Bodyform - Would you have sex whist on your period?

Have you ever considered having sex whilst you or your partner are on their period?

While working with Bodyform we asked 2,000 men and women if they would ever have sex whilst themselves or their partner is on their period. From our research, we found that 35 per cent don’t like the idea. One in 10 Brits have ended their relationship due to different point of views on the matter. And 44 per cent of women don’t feel ‘sexy’ whilst having sex on their period.

Traci Baxter from Bodyform, which commissioned the research as part of its ongoing mission to break down the taboos around periods, said: “Sex is an important part of many relationships, and periods are a totally natural part of life. No-one should feel embarrassed or uncomfortable discussing either subject with the people they’re close to – especially their partner.”
