Work, work, work. That’s all many of us seem to do. A new poll for deal giants, Groupon, has found that 60% of Americans have an unhealthy work-life balance.

The survey of 2,000 Americans revealed that the average American takes a meagre 11 days vacation a year and most of these are taken for things other than rest and relaxation. In fact, 41% of respondents admitted that it’s been at least six months since they felt truly relaxed.

So what’s the problem? What’s keeping us tied to our desks? Over a quarter claimed that their never ending stress was related to constant pressure from the boss and 1 in 7 even got constant pressure from their colleagues.

The survey marked Groupon’s inaugural summer spa retreat event which ran from July 26-28 and featured offers at spas throughout America. The story, alongside the infographic designed by our in-house design studio, was featured on many sites such as Forbes, Yahoo, Inc, Glamour and more!
