While working with Stubhub, we found that nearly half of adults are so preoccupied that they can’t ‘live in the moment’ – with money worries, smartphones and stress all being common distractions.
From our research, we found that 45 per cent of adults struggle to make the most of what they’re doing, with more than two fifths too worried about how much events are costing them to enjoy them fully.
A Stubhub spokesman said: “There’s nothing more exciting – and often inspiring – than going to a live event, whether that’s sports, the theatre or a gig, and just taking in the atmosphere. Our research found nearly six in 10 people would love to be able to give the gift of a live experience to someone if they had the chance.”
